Research And Development History

History and Honors of the Research and Development (R&D) Unit; The Core of Innovation

The Research and Development (R&D) unit of Tabib Daru Kashan was established on August 11, 2018, with a mission beyond production—aiming to create technical knowledge in the medicinal plants industry. We initiated our operations by equipping advanced laboratories for phytochemistry, instrumental analysis, and clinical research to bridge the gap between the heritage of traditional medicine and modern pharmaceutical standards.

Knowledge-Based Status and Legal Officiality

The specialized efforts of this unit led to the official registration of the company in March 2020, and ultimately to attaining approval as a Knowledge-Based company by the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology on September 26, 2020.

Honors and Achievements (2023–2025)

A golden page in our achievements is the international recognition of our unit's experts as scientific authorities. Researchers at Tabib Daru succeeded in being named Top Researchers for three consecutive years (2023 to 2025), securing this unit's place among the top 3% of world scientists. This achievement stands as proof that our products speak with authority not only in the market, but also within global academic circles.

Innovations and National Patents

We have transformed science into products. The formulation of 11 pharmaceutical products, over 10 cosmetic and personal care products, and the following strategic patents are the result of our experts' dedication:
  • Herbal Vaginal Suppository: An innovative oak galls product for the treatment of Candida infections (2020).
  • Lithiax Oral Drops: An effective formulation for the elimination of urinary tract stones (2021).
  • Women's Softgel Capsule: A combination of anise and evening primrose for the treatment of premenstrual syndrome (2022).
